REIKI I
teaches you the metaphysics of life and healing. What it is, how it works, its many uses. You will learn the Traditional Usui System of Healing as well as the history behind it. You will be attuned to receive Reiki to heal yourself and others. This course is for self-development and empowerment.

REIKI II
you will be attuned to the Divine Reiki Symbols that are the heart of the Reiki system. These symbols allow you to heal powerfully on all levels:

• the emotions
• the mind
• the physical
• the past
• the present
• the future
• distance healing

Many more techniques will be taught to help in your healing e.g. Kriya breathing, focusing, beaming, auric scanning, kanji hand positions.

HEALING AND BALANCING THE CHAKRAS

20th AND 21st OCTOBER 2007

The acient chakra system can be used as a map for the process of individuation. The chakras have been described as centers of organisation for the reception, assimilation, transformation and expression of life energy.

This is the second in a series of two chakra workshops run by Maureen Courtney. Each workshop is designed to stand alone, so attendance at both is not crucial but would be benificial for anyone interested in working with the chakra system.

What you will learn on this workshop
we will be discussing each chakra in turn, examining the traumas and abuses that can affect that chakra and plan how to move forward. You will be able to leave the workshop and continue the work yoy've leanred during the weekend. We will examine:

• The corresponding developmental stage for the chakra
• How traumas and abuses can cause chakra imbalance
• How chakra imbalances can block the flow of the life force (libido, chi, ki, 'the force' - the energy that makes us 'who we are')
• How to diagnose chakra imbalances
